The Alexander Technique
The Alexander Technique is a simple practical and effective skill that teaches us to improve our posture and move well with greater freedom in everyday activities.
Think of it as a user manual for your body and mind!
Learning to apply the Alexander Technique in everyday life is fun. You embark on an interesting journey of self discovery while learning about your hidden harmful tension habits. It is gradually changing these habits that can lead to an overall reduction in muscular tension, easier movement patterns, improved general health, better breathing and stress management leading to increased feelings of wellbeing. It is neuromuscular re-education.
I am based in Hurstpierpoint, West Sussex. I offer individual sessions in my garden studio and at Valentine Voice Care Studio in Lewes. I run groups and workshops in a variety of locations to suit you.
